WHAT NEXT INDEED!! Now your only limitation is a road and there are millions & probably billions of those.
No flats, no bike problems whatsoever?! Amazing. Do you still have toes left? What's most amazing is your steadfast dedication to this grand trip.
Love the stories about meeting people along the way. That's what sets bike touring apart. It's those casual and unpredictable encounters that keep you coming back for more. It's a great way to get a snapshot of a place.
My helmet is off to you in a huge way and I can't wait to go for a ride and hear your tales first hand. See you soon and have a safe return! Al
Felicitations, Ed! (that's french) You have truly earned that special whatever: chocolate milkshake, giant ice cream sundae, double order of fries, quart of whoppers, you name it! We are very excited in this house to know you are safely and happily there. We wish you a happy graduation celebration! Hurray Ed and Tyler. Lynn
We are proud of you Dad. Hailey said, "that must have been a really big challenge" Connor said, "did he have to do that?" John says"ahahhhhahah" Mel says "don't quote me". I say, head west. and Yeaaaaaaaaa Tyler!!!!!!
This is my first year fully retired from teaching after 20 years in middle and high school math classes. Also retired from consulting engineering and USCG where I served for 20 years until 1984. Ships, boats, boat building, sailing, snow sports, and of course bicycling all keep things interesting here in our home state of Vermont. Mary continues to teach MS English and enjoys our home and the Vermont outdoors every bit as much as I do. Did I forget---5 children and 8 grandchildren also take up quite a bit of our time.
Congratulations! Thank God for your wounderful bike and a safe trip.
